Amazing Grace Conservatory (AGC) is NAACP Award Winning program. This community-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization focuses on performing arts training in acting, voice and dance for youth, ages 5-18. AGC is more than performing arts; they are a conduit for empowering young people and affecting change! Through socially relevant performances, their students are inspired to find their voice, express their creative abilities and flourish as artists/scholars, significantly impacting themselves and their community.
The Mr. and Mrs. Rushion and Cicely McDonald Scholarship was established for the purpose of providing annual $5,000.00 scholarships for African American students enrolled at the University of Houston in the Colleges of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Optometry.
Disney Dreamers Academy is a power-packed, 4-day event held annually at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, in which 100 select high school students, ages 13-19, are inspired to dream big and get a jump-start on making those dreams come true! Students chosen to attend travel from every corner of the country to participate in a series of sessions and workshops held within the magical setting of Walt Disney World Resort, virtually turning the theme parks into vibrant classrooms where Dreamers can imagine bright futures, make exciting discoveries and learn how to put their goals into action.
