I had many doubters about my decision and yes, there was the fear of the unknown. Overcoming fear is part of the process. Success belongs to those who refuse to quit. To overcome obstacles, to Persevere and stay committed to your goals, but you will need Uplift, and that can come in many forms: valuable information, faith, mentorship, discipline, and a willingness to work hard when others give up.
The purpose of the Keep Winning blog is to provide that Uplift, when Perseverance is not enough. I know this because I've lived it. I was born and raised in a two-bedroom shotgun house with six sisters and two brothers. My father was a truck driver with a third-grade education, and my mother was a high school graduate. Those humble beginnings are just one chapter of my success story.
